Trading Cards - This is one of my favorite new apps! It allows students to show what they know about people, places, or things in an original format. This even has an option to practice and show learning of new vocabulary!
Here is what the developer said about this cool app:
Create trading cards for any number of categories, including:
• Fictional person
• Real person
• Fictional place
• Real place
• Object
• Event
• Vocabulary word
Each category has guiding questions for creating the card.
You can send the completed trading cards to the camera roll and then save it to WebDAV so you can move it or print it later!

This sounds like a great app to use in our moon/sun study we are beginning. Students could create apps to show events and new vocabulary they learn in our study.

We used this app to create cards on some of the important leaders during the Revolutionary War. My students loved this app.

I am very excited about using this app with my explorer unit next year. I have already decided to use it in the next few weeks as a character report. The students will need to choose their favorite character we have read about this year and create a trading card for that character.

Each of my students are using this app right now to create a trading card for their famous South Carolinian for our 3rd grade Wax Museum. The kids find it very easy to use and are even teaching me a thing or two about it.

I'm setting up vocabulary trading cards to use with Journeys! I think this will be a fun way for the students to review the weekly words and put them to practical use!
